Jesuit Celebrates Student-Athletes on College Celebration Day

Jesuit High School Sacramento proudly celebrated College Celebration Day, honoring 29 student-athletes who will continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. Surrounded by coaches, teammates, family, and friends, each student signed their commitment and marked the next step in their journey with photos and celebration.

This year's class represents a wide range of sports and institutions across the country:

In swimming, Adam Becker will attend Tufts University.

Jesuit Football sends four athletes forward: Alex Dewar (Chapman University), Duncan Broughton and Joey Ellis (Portland State University), and Brady McMains (University of Southern California).

Anthony Stouder will continue his golf career at Hillsdale College.

Jesuit Rugby continues its strong tradition with Barrett Saich, Cooper Getz, Joe Kungys, and Maverick Nagel heading to Sacramento State; Joshua Rucker to Baylor University; Nolan O'Flaherty to South Carolina; and Spencer Grammer to University of San Diego.

In lacrosse, Braden Garcia (University of Nevada, Reno), Alex Baltazar (Elmhurst University), Jacob Bradshaw (Rockhurst University), and Samuel Felix (Chico State) will compete at the next level.

Baseball standouts Charlie Kramer (Willamette), Alex Quigley (Oklahoma Christian), Jordan Walczykowski (University of San Diego), and Sammy Kane (University of Oregon) also signed their commitments.

Jesuit's distance program will be well represented with Drake Hoferer (UCLA), Isaac Abbott (Duke University), Kyle Jakary and Holden Luhrsen (Cal Poly) continuing in cross country and track & field.

Peyton Marmion will play soccer at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, while Nolan Pahule continues with California Lutheran University's soccer program.

Sahib Randhawa will compete in basketball at UC Santa Cruz.

In volleyball, Peter Carlino (Jessup University) and Noah Nast (Oregon State) round out this accomplished group.

College Signing Day is a celebration not only of athletic achievement, but of years of dedication, discipline, and growth. These Marauders now take the next step, prepared to compete, lead, and represent Jesuit at the collegiate level.
