Jesuit Advances to Section Championship at Golden 1 Center

The Jesuit Marauders are heading to the Section Championship after a hard-fought 54-50 victory over Destiny Christian Academy. This marks Jesuit's 19th appearance in a section final as they chase their 12th blue banner, with a showdown against Rocklin High School set to take place at Golden 1 Center.

Key Moments & Standout Performances

  • Luke Browne '25 delivered a late-game 3-pointer, helping secure the win.

  • Sahib Randhawa '26 led the team with 13 points, continuing his strong performance.

  • Asher Schroeder '25 provided steady leadership at guard, a role he has excelled in all season.

  • Jesuit's signature stout defense once again played a key role in securing the victory.

"Just a great team effort," said Jesuit's Head Varsity Basketball Coach Tim Kelly. "Players were awesome sticking to a game plan and executing on the road in a tough environment against a really good team."

SFL Toughness Prepares Jesuit for Playoffs

Jesuit's journey to the championship game highlights the strength of the Sierra Foothill League (SFL), which is also represented by Rocklin and Folsom in the postseason.

"The SFL definitely preps your team," Kelly said. "Good players, great coaches, and a playoff-brand of basketball in league play."

With their eyes set on the section title, Jesuit is ready to take the court at the Golden 1 Center in pursuit of championship glory.
