During the Division 1 Championship, the Jesuit wrestling team delivered another stellar performance, with standout efforts from Logan Nguyen '25 and Maximilian Troppmann '25 propelling them into qualification for the Masters Tournament in Stockton, CA, on February 21.  

Competing in the 215 weight class, Nguyen showcased unmatched dominance throughout the tournament. In the first round, Nguyen secured a victory by fall over Jorge Zaragoza of Tracy in just 1:21. He continued his impressive run in the quarterfinals by pinning Adrian Navarro of Kimball in only 50 seconds. The momentum carried into the semifinal, where Nguyen recorded another quick fall over Kai Chua from Oak Ridge in a mere 36 seconds. Finally, in the championship match, Nguyen won by injury default over Minh Bernier of Davis Senior. This performance not only cemented his status as a premier wrestler at Jesuit but also qualified him for the upcoming Masters Tournament. 

In the 175 weight class, Troppmann also made a significant impact. Troppmann began his tournament with a strong win by fall over Mason Ogg from Sheldon in 3:57. He followed up with a decision victory against Vincent Yemchuk of Oak Ridge in the quarterfinals. Although he fell in the semifinal to Evan Hilmen of Del Oro by fall in 1:46, Troppmann rebounded in the consolation rounds. A win by medical forfeit over David Ormonde of Tracy advanced him further, though he ultimately finished fourth after a fall loss to Vincent Yemchuk in the 3rd Place match. With his performance, Troppmann secured his spot at the Masters Tournament.
