Coach Ralph was born and raised in Sacramento. He attended the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University receiving his undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Ralph worked for eight years in media relations for the Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Republic FC before changing careers becoming a full-time teacher and coach.He received his Masters degree in teaching from the University of San Francisco.
Ralph has coached high school football and basketball since 2012 at the varsity, junior varsity and freshman levels. He began work as the Jesuit head JV basketball coach in 2021 and as a varsity football assistant coach in 2023. In addition to coaching, Ralph is a member of the Jesuit Mathematics Department where he teaches AP Statistics, Intro to Statistics, and Algebra I.
